Local desktop

Downloading Macaron and working with local folders does not require a subscription. Your agent provider may charge separately for its subscription or API usage.

Hosted services

Manage your subscription and credit balance at https://macaron.sh/app/billing Sign into the same Macaron account on desktop and web to share the balance. Billing does not provide an agent-provider subscription.

How credit works

Pro adds machine credit every time it renews, and you can top up at any time. Unused credit stays on your account. Cloud computers draw from it by the hour: the full rate while running, a lower rate while stopped because a stopped machine still keeps its disk.

When credit runs out

A running cloud computer is stopped, not deleted, and its disk is kept for a grace period. Add credit before the deletion date shown for the machine to keep its files and start it again. Model usage is never billed through credit; it goes to your own provider account.

Changing or cancelling

Change plan, update your card or cancel at any time from billing settings, through Stripe. Your first payment has a 14-day money-back guarantee; the refund policy at https://macaron.sh/refunds has the details.
