Workspaces and split views
Keep the thread, terminal and files for a task within reach.
Switch projects
The project workspace tabs show the projects you have open. Select a tab to return to that project, or use Open workspace to choose another project. Working and Needs attention indicators show which project has an active agent or a request waiting for you.
Arrange panes
Use View → Split View to place two panes side by side. Drag a tab toward a pane edge to move it into a split, or into another tab strip to group it there. Drag the divider to resize; double-click the divider to return to an even split.
Keep the task together
Put the agent thread beside its diff when reviewing code. For a website task, keep a terminal running the development server and open the preview beside it. The selected project and computer determine the files and commands you are working with.
Close a workspace tab
Closing the workspace tab removes it from the tab bar; its sessions keep running. Reopen the project from Open workspace. Stop an agent or a long-running command explicitly when you no longer need it.
